Longer Shop Apron?

Since my workstand is one of the original Park workstands with no height adjustment and low height, I generally sit down on a low, plastic step stool while I work on my bikes. Sitting down with knees bent up requires a longer shop apron than when standing if you want to adequately protect most of the top of your pants between waist and knees. Does anyone know of a relatively long, shop apron that would still do the job protecting the top of the pants when sitting down on a low stool? I tried a Spin Doctor apron but thought it was too short to be of much use.

Make a short length of apron out of whatever material you want, get some velcro and use that to temporarily lengthen your apron. You can also take it off when needed. Sew the velcro onto your shop apron if you want it to stay more permanently.
