rear derailleur adjustment
Bear with me and my newbie question.
My rear derailleur wasn't fully shifting into the smallest sprocket on my new Long Haul Trucker. It would shift into the highest gear but click a bit and then sometimes shift into the next gear on it's own under pedaling load. The shift cable was extremely slack when running on the smallest sprocket. I loosened the cable clamp, tightened up the cable and then clamped it back down. I put about a turn or so of adjustment on the limit screw and now it's fine. Shifts fine and stays put, and indexes correctly across the whole cassette.
Is that all I should do? Thanks for any help.
