Flat tire problem

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could enlighten as to why this happens. The rear tire will go flat and when I mount the tire back on after replacing the tube, the tire wants to buldge out over the rim at the area near the valve. It's kind of like the tire has stretched to much or something. I'll push the bead back down and reinflate slowly, but it will pop out again. Had same problem with Continental 4000's and Armidallo's. When the tire is new and installed the first time, it seats perfectly without a hassle.
Thanks, and I'd appreciate your help so I can get back to pedalling down the bayou kicking dogs while listening to Alter Bridge. nightman

After you have got the tire on the rim, push the valve all the way in to make sure the tube around the valve isnt trapped under the bead of the tire. You will probably find more in the Mechanics section of bike forums. Tell us about your bike and the rides you take.
