    tiagra derailleur question

Its kinda loud. I have 300 miles on my new bike and the pullys seem kinda noisy to me. I cant remember if they have gotten louder since I started rideing or not. I have had a few adverse weather days that have coated the bike in grime.

Im wondering if these should be greased\lubed or if they are sealed, if sealed is there something else i should check in terms of ajustment? The derailleur shifts find (ie not trying to go up a gear all the time)

300 miles probably means you have to take up a little bit of tension on the barrel adjuster for the RDER. Screw it out a 1/4-1/2 turn and see what happens.
Cables/housings stretch/compress/wear in on a new bike. That's why the LBS typically offers a free 30 day tune up.

You also might want to lube the chain. Lubing quiets a chain, and chain noise is pronounced as it snakes through the pulley.

300 miles is too early for pulley problems. Pulleys often have greased bearings and should last waaaay more than 300 miles.

Also, as Bill K says, you may need minor tweaking to take up normal cable stretch / housing compression.
