Minor issue with a Trek 750

I was just given a Trek 750, it's a great bike, but there's one problem, I have flat tires and I can't seem to find a pump that fits the valve. Does anybody have any info as to what kind of pump I need? I'd just pop into a bike shop but I kinda live in the middle of nowhere, so I'm just a tad stuck for the moment. Thanks!

It probably has Presta valves, unlike the Schraeder valves as found on car tires.
Bike pumps usually have a reversible insert in the "business end".
Search the forum for Presta

That may very well be it, I'll look it up. I had switched something around on my bike pump to try getting it to work but I may have just done that wrong. It's almost 3 am here, so I'm pretty tired so I'm probably just not doing something right. Haha.

You are my new hero, I'm not even kidding, thank you so much for that link, I mean, I totally took apart and reassembled the pump, I had it right all along, I was just forgetting to open the valve. I saw it in the picture and wanted someone to slap me. Haha. Thank you so much! =D
