1mm Hump at Open Pro rim joint
Hi all
I just got done rebuilding an Open Pro Ultegra rear wheel. There is a 1mm hump adjacent to the rim seam. I can't really attack it with the spokes as that area is very stiff and would force the spokes to be way higher than average tension. My question is is there any reason to fuss with it. A lot of rims I've seen just out a bit arround the joint, my CXP 11's Sun CR18's. Will leaving it alone have any adverse affect, something I think I read said accelerated tire wear?

OK thanks. Decided to finally buy the TM-1 from Performance with the 20% deal. Been relying on plucking.
