If they're in a box and out of UV and stuff they are relatively indefinitely good. "Relative" is a relative term, but I have tubes from 20+ years ago and they're still fine.

Keep them away from ozone. Bad sources of ozone include electric motors (furnaces included) and photocopiers/laser printers.

Ozone will depolymerize the rubber and cause it to disintegrate.

Man, how many tubes are you buying? Just preparing for that next hurricane and/or Cold War, eh?

I've got a carton of 700X19-26 Presta tubes, most date from 1975 to 1983 or thereabouts. They work fine, boxes fall apart... dried out glue... but the tubes look and feel like new.

Of course, I keep them in the house. I've an attic bedroom that's become a sort of bicycle workshop. It's dry, climate controlled, and well away from ozone producing motors. (Fans, washing machines, compressors. All of these will eventually ruin rubber .) Plus, lugging bikes up & down the dark, narrow stairs builds character.

Other sources for ozone are gasoline and gasoline motor exhaust. Unprotected innertubes fall apart in less than one year in my garage. The same tubes seem to last forever inside my house.
