Campy Chorus 10sp right shifter lost it's thumb 'click' sound

it still works, but depressing the thump lever on right Campy chorus carbon 10sp shifter produces the shift, but little audible or sensory 'click'. Leads to immediate mental ponder during ride if shift has occured. I've removed hood, cleaned as well as I can without taking it apart- can't find either the reason for lack of solid 'click' or even the reason for the (previously felt) solid 'click'. Checked hood for cracking, and area for this or other material getting in the way

the other upshift lever that sits behind the right brake lever has not lost it's 'click'and works fine.

the left upshift and thumb shift works fine and still has it's 'click's

???

The G spring has broken. Order 2 new G springs and a spiral spring and rebuild the brifter. There is a video on doing this on youtube. It's very easy.
