Campy Record 10 Speed Pulley Wheel Help
Searched and could not find a definitive answer so here goes.
I want to replace the jockey wheels on my 2006 Campy Record Rear der. To see what I need, I looked the part number up on the Campy web site 2006 "Spare Parts and Tools" catalog. The pictures for 2004-2008 all show the Record replacement pulleys as RD-RE600, 8.8mm. So I had my LBS order that number and when I showed up it was clearly labeled (by QBP) as 9 speed. I then had them just look up Campy 10 speed rd pulleys and up pops RD-RE700, 8.4 mm. So back to the Campy website I go. I double check and I did not make a mistake. All of those "Spare Parts and Tools" catalogs show RD-RE600, 8.8mm for Record and RD-RE700, 8.4 mm for Chorus, Centaur etc.
So then I checked the Campy website "2008 Spare Parts Price List" and it says RD-RE600, 8.8mm "set of 9 speed der pulleys," and RD-RE 700, 8.4mm "set of 10 speed der pulleys."
So, obviously the two Campy website documents do not agree with each other.
Then I called Campy North America and ask them. At first they said that RD-RE700 is for the 11 speed, but when I re-referenced the two Campy website pages, they went to their catalogs and said that the correct pulleys for 10 Record is RD-RE600.
FWIW Excel sports lists the RD-RE600 as a 9 speed and RE-RD700 as 10 speed.
So is there an expert out there who can clear up my confusion. For Record 10 speed do I use RD-RE600 (as the Campy catalogs show) or RD-RE700 (as the Campy Spare parts price list shows)?? Or is the the Ayattollah of Campagnolo (see below) correct?
p.s. I searched the Weight Weenies site for answer to this question and could not find one but I did find a link to this on Campy only "Campy specs the 9 speed pulleys on the Record carbon cage because they have the wider bushings. The carbon side plates are a thinner than the alloy ones and the wider bushings fill in this extra space. Same pulley just with the wider bushing. Order the 8.8 if you have a carbon fiber pulley cage."
I understand that the jockey wheels themselves are the same but that the bushings are different width.

RD-RE600 is for 10 Speed Record and 9 Speed Champ Triple Rear Der. 8.8mm -- RD-RE700 is for 10 Speed Chorus/Centaur/Veloce/Mirage/Xenon/Comp Triple/Race Triple Rear Der. 8.4mm.

Campy NA service center RD-RE600
Campy Parts Catalog RD-RE600
Campy Price list RD-RE700
Forum Responses 2 for RE-RD600 (Campy Only -1 Weight Weenies 1) and one for RE-RD700 (Bike forums).
Pretty clear so far.

Neither RED-RE600 nor RD-RE700 are carbon. The outer cage plate for the newer Campy Record 10 speed is carbon, the older 10 spd Record had an alloy outer RD cage plate.

One last bump and then I'll let it die (the thread that is not the search for the correct pulley wheels)

Ten speed pulley wheels are 8.4 mm wide and have tiny "C10" letters stamped on the steel end caps. Nine speed pulley wheels have plain end caps and are 8.8mm wide. The actual plastic toothed wheels are the same for 9 and 10 speed; only the end caps and internal bushings are different.
