OPC chainring removal,

Which way to you turn the right side cone to remove the chainring on a one-piece-crank when you are viewing the cone from the "inside" of the bike. That is, if you are looking from the left side of the bike, through the bottom bracket to the inside side of the cone/chainring. Clockwise or counter-clockwise?

I'm guessing counter-clockwise, but I'm confused, because you are looking at it from the opposite side of the outside. I'm having a heck of a time getting it off, any other tips? I sprayed some PB Blaster on it, so maybe it will work out tomorrow.

Why is this a poll? The right answer is whatever Sheldon says it is: https://sheldonbrown.com/opc.html .

From my 40+ years of bike building, the inside/left pedal is the only component with reverse threads.
