does anybody know where in LA, I can have a steel frame copper dipped-- it is chromed slx --- should I scrap this idea

Why would this be a bad idea?

The American Choppers guys did their "Liberty" bike with a copper-finished chrome, mimicking the statue.

A copper frame, *that* would be a bad idea.

Wow, sounds cool if you can keep the copper from corroding - or maybe that would look cool. hmmm.

Two concernds:

First, lightening, of course.

Second, metal recyclers. They risk their lives to steal live copper power lines, so ripping off a copper tubing bicycle would be a natural for them.

ok-- guys-- this is not a copper tubed bike--- I want to copper dip or coat the frame-- are there any welders or platers that can help me
