Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

And, no, I havn't heard of any CVT hubs from shimano, but I would be surprised if they didn't have a design somewhere in the works that may or may not some day reach production.

Speaking of NuVinci, after a fair amount of initial publicity they seem to have fallen off the map, particularly in bicycle applications. The hubs were interesting but extremely heavy and expensive. Are they actually being used in any application anyone knows of?

Thank you, yes, I meant NuVinci, I was talking to someone the other day and he said there was a bike coming out with a Shimano version. Must go back and find out if he ( or me ) has his facts straight.

I'm pretty sure you can still buy a couple of OEM bikes that spec them.
