118 bb spindle on a double chorus crankset?

So i built up a 1 x 9 cyclocross with parts that i found in my bin. I matched up a campy double chorus with an older bb-UN54 that is roughly 118-120mm in length. Campy chorus requires 102 spindle according to their manual. I have it all on and it seems to work fine. The only thing is that the crank sticks out bit. I'm not so concerned about the sticking out part. Just want to know if I'll encounter any problems on the road/trail? Too much leverage pushing down on the spindle??

Also, the gearing works fine.. no chain rubs and nothing out of the ordinary. I'm only using the inner chainring...but i suppose because of this spindle length, it is slightly farther out that an outer chainring.

You've mixed an ISO crankset with a JIS spindle. As long as you torqued it properly, and the crankset/bolt interface is not bottoming out on the spindle, Sheldon Brown says you should be OK.

The combination of ISO crank and JIS spindle can result in the crank not going far enough onto the spindle, not bottoming out. It's the JIS crank on an ISO spindle that can go on too far. However, usually they can be mixed with no problems.
