Cannondale super v
hello,
i have a cannondale super v with a fox shock that just went kablooey. Since the birth of my son (8 years ago) I have only ridden on the road with this bike, pulling kid trailers, shopping trips etc.. Use this bike when weather is bad and don't want to soil my road bike.
Can I turn this into a front shock only bike???

i had a 97' super v 700 f/s with the fox shock and carbon fiber rear swing arm, and inevitably my fox shock went out as well. personally, id bite the bullit and buy a new shock with a lockout feature, if they still make one. as far as turning it into a hardtail, my best friend had bought the super v 900 around the same time as i got mine, jumped his off a loading dock and shattered the rear swing arm. so make sure if you do turn it into a hardtail, that you check with cannondale or ? to see if that is ok to do with that type. if not a carbonfiber rearend, you can see if they make a piece that takes the place of the fox shock, but i'd still try to get one with a lockout feature.
