I have a Sigma DTS 1606L wireless computer. It has worked fine until I was in a wreck a couple of weeks ago, and now my cadence counter seems to have doubled. I spend a lot of time with a 180 cadence. I realize it has been a good summer riding but not that good. Did the wreck have something to do with it? I took the battery out for a 10 minute reboot, but that did not seem to work. Is it the sender or the head unit? Any suggestions about how to fix it? Replacement parts?

Also, I have not been overly impressed with the sensor mounting I find that I am always having to adjust them. The speed sensor is held own with a big O ring and it does not fit the fork of my bike well. A firm pothole will jar it far enough from the magnet to stop working, a common occurrence here in Michigan. The cadence sensor is held on with zip ties and it rocks on the chain stay, even though I have it as tight as I can get it. I ride a Trek 1500.

Anyone with any experience or good ideas I would love to hear about it.

Try changing the angle of the cadence magnet or the position of the sensor. I remember reading somewhere depending on the way the magnetic field is orientated it is possible for it to pick up a double reading. Though if you haven't changed the position of the sensor or magnet since the wreck, I'm not sure what's going on.

Unfortunately, not much to add with regards to the speed sensor. I've had similar problems in the past but managed to find a good position that doesn't seem to sleep around too much.

For the cadence sensor you could slip a bit of inner tube between it and the chain stay and then zip tie it down. The cadence sensor has a bit of foam where it mounts but it's not very grippy. A piece of rubber my solve that issue hopefully.
