The bearings can be serviced or replaced. Phil Wood and enduroforkseals.com are both sources for bearings if you want to reuse the cups. enduroforkseals.com sells a tool for the purpose (Phil might too, not sure) but there are other ways to pull and reinstall the bearings. Depends on how much you want to spend in time and $. If you're interested in the procedure there's a sticky at the top of the drivetrain forum on mtbr covering servicing the bearings, replacing them, etc...

Thank you for all your suggestions. I was however attempting to comfirm the dimenions of the bearings. I have since done that and am aware of the Phil tool. I have replaced bearings in other BB using it. Again thank you for your help.
