There are inline barrel adjusters that you can use. You just cut your housing into two peices, put this in the middle and it allows you a good range of adjustability. Not as nice as being able to mount the adjusters on the downtube, but on the Giant it's your only choice.

Giant uses inline adjusters, they should come with the frame. They are kind of bulky looking so I don't run them on my bike. I fine tune at the rear der. And adjusted the front by fiddling with the clamping point. Once you get it right, it tends to stay right unless you crash.
