What part would you recommend?
Hey all
I have a 2005 Jamis Cross Country 2.0 and I have bent the 44 tooth gear on the crank. Should I replace the whole crankset? Recommendations?
(I'm looking to spend <$60 btw).
I would rather not just buy the same 44 tooth sprocket again...
Thanks!

Then buy a different chain ring?

Although at that price a new crankest is almost cheaper.

It's probably important to ask if it was bent due to hitting something, or just from pedaling?

If it isn't bent too badly, use a crescent wrench or similar tool to bend it so the deformity is now longer noticeable. We do it all the time at the shop I work at.
If it's bent too badly you'll have to replace it.
