Clamp-on Cable Housing Stop?

I'd like to convert my bottom-pull front derailleur setup to a top-pull. In other words, routing the front shift cable along the top tube and then down the seat tube.

I've found some good-looking clips from JagWire for cable routing but does anyone make a clamp-on cable housing stop? (A stock top-pull bike has a braze-on on the back of the seat tube.)

Do a google image search with string "problem solvers backstop". It seems to have been designed originally for top tubes but I don't see why it wouldn't work with a seat tube. I haven't used it myself though so I don't know how well it would work.

Edit: Just noticed that they are for brakes and not shifters.

Thanks for the "backstop" idea. Shift cables are thinner than brake cables so I should be able to make it work. It comes in my seat tube diameter: 1-1/4"
