what kind of frame for Nexus 8 speed hub ?
Ok, I think I would like to build my own bike with a nexus 8 speed hub. So I guess the first step would be to look for a good used frame. I am 6ft. 2in. 270 lbs., would like to sit more upright, and will be riding on bike paths, dirt roads, etc., etc. What should I look for when trying to find a good strong used frame.

Not sure about the frame, but have you found a source for the hub?

Check this frameset out. It's not used, but it won't break the bank. I'm looking to get one soon myself...

You need horizontal dropouts and a rear axle spacing of 130mm.
Make sure the frame has clearance for wide-tyres, maybe up to 35mm, and has a useful mix of braze-ons for rack, fenders, water-bottles.
You dont have to use hub gears on sit-up cruser bikes. Older touring frames often have horizontal dropouts. You can fit any type of bar, drops of flat.
