these are powerful brakes....do you think a bridgestone xo-1 has stout enough frame tubes for running these cantis? if not, any suggestions?

Nope, X0-1's have historically weak canti's. Please send it to me for immediate disposal.

Seriously, that will be a great brake for that bike. You should use the touring version on the rear for heal clearance.
