Sturmey Archer XRD mounting

Is it possible to mount this hub with the brake arm secured to the seat stay instead of the chain stay? Will the brake arm get in the way if I try to mount it like that?

Thanks.

Mine would fit just fine that way. No clearance problems on the brake arm at all. The brake cable will follow the seat stay rather than the chain stay, though. Try it and see.
