NYC-NJ Wrench Needed-->>

I am going to have a cycle that needs built up in the near future and I was wondering if anyone here knows of someone specifically they could recommend for the job. Skilled, attention to detail with the kind and gentle touch of a Grandmother ;-]

Or, perhaps if someone here at BikeForums wants to undertake this and again lives in the NYC Metro area...

Thanks

chelsea bikes on 26th street and 7th ave (you should look up the address to be sure) does custom work. i was talking with a guy that was having some parts painted and machined, and he said they did a great job. i also know that this shop builds custom frames. i don't have first hand experience with them building anything for me (i bought a bike there though), but i've heard good things. nice group of people as well. might be worth checking out. good luck!
