Removing sticky residue from frame stickers

Anybody have a suggestion for removing the sticky residue from frame stickers...? Without harming the paint job?
Thanx!

One commercial product for sale is Goo Gone.

If you have some around, try WD-40 and a soft rag like a bit of towel.

WD-40 or kerosene (samething as WD-40 minus the small amount of lube) shold remove the residue with no harm to the finish.

The citrus degreasers work pretty well too, if you have any of that laying around.

Safest and most effective stuff I've found is naphtha, AKA lighter fluid or white gas.

denatured alcohol ftw. least enviornmental impact, least poisonous.
this is ethanol alcohol that is poisoned (denatured) so you can't drink
it, but otherwise it is ethanol and effective at permanent marker, paint, and adhesives

use it lightly and rinse and it won't harm the underlying paint. just don't rub hard

or any 100 proof or higher liquor. bacardi 151 strips adhesives well

[isopropyl alcohol is useless, don't use that. it is not ethanol]

goo gone is good too [but more poisonous than denatured alcohol if it gets on your skin]
