chain problem, link turns up

I'm building my first bike and I'm stuck on a problem I'm having with the chain. There is one link that when it hits the rear derailleaur, it turns up and creates a bump in the chain rotation. It turns up at both wheels on the derailleaur and when it hits the cassette. I don't know if this is the link where I inserted the pin to put it together. It is a shimano dura ace chain and all the parts are 9 speed dura ace 7700 series. Should I just pop out the pin and put in a new one or is there another solution?

I used wipperman link to install my new dura ace chain. Easy, no problems at all.

Find the stiff point in the chain. Grab the links on either side and push it up into a "tent" shape and wiggle gently. That should loosen it up a bit.

You have a stiff link which is common. If wiggling the chain like the other poster mentioned doesn't get the job done, chuck your chain back in the other slot of your chain tool so that the far plate isn't supported. Then give your chain tool about 1/8 turn and that will fix it.

Make sure when you're adjusting it with the chain tool that you hear a nice pop sound, that usually means the rivet's popped into its slot.

If this doesn't free it up, put the tool on the chain the other way, so that it's acting on the other end of the pin in question, and repeat the procedure.
