Blackburn Dual Head Pump Usage

I had a problem with my Blackburn head. I contacted Blackburn and they sent me out a new one. This new one is shaped like a "T". One side is presta, the other is Schrader. I am trying to use the presta valve side and I can't seem to get it to work.

There isn't any lever on the head, so I assume I just place it over the valve, like the Silica head and somehow the pump knows which side to push the air in. Well, all that seems to happen is air from the pump and the tube goes out the Schrader side.

Does anyone know how to use this thing? I would show a picture of it, but there doesn't seem to be one on Blackburn's site.
