DA 7800 right shifter/brake won't return to neutral
The right shifter functions properly and brakes properly, however it doesn't fully return/snap back into the neutral position. If i pull the brakes to slow and let off the shifter doesn't return up to neutral. any idea on why this may be? thanks.

Two ideas:
1) Something is binding in cable in the housing. You may not notice it when you grab the brakes, but it is overpowering the return spring and not allowing the brake to snap back.
2) There could be gunk in there. Flush it out with WD-40.

Clean your brakes as per above. And put some new cables and housing on the machine. Apply a little oil to the cable, and drip some into the housing as well.

checked the cables and housing, nothing wrong. removed the brake cable and diagnosed that there is something rubbing so greatly that the spring will not return it all the way to neutral. going to have the local bike shop work some magic. thanks.
