3T Funda fork and reynolds front hub
Hi, I am having issues getting my front wheel (reynolds alta) to fit up into my new 3T funda fork. I have tried another wheel, with ultegra hubs, and it worked fine. The problem is that the bit of the hub that protudes out (part of the axle?) is just a little bit too large in diameter, so it does not fit into the fork's dropouts. Has anyone also had this problem? I'm thinking it might be possible to just replace that bit at the end.
I think the hub is a DT swiss rebranded as reynolds. It looks nearly identical to this one:

except it does not have the metal ring on the outer ends.
Thanks in advance for any help :-)

It would seem that I was being a little too careful. I should have suspected, since other forks have also been tight at first. The end of the dropout was a little bit more narrow than the inside. I ended up taking the hub apart and doing a test fit. After I confirmed that it would eventually fit, I just stuck it in and gave the wheel a whack and it was in. Now, am I going to have to hit the wheel in every time? I can confirm that it did not visibly damage the dropouts, but I am still a little apprehensive of having to stuff it in every time.

If I were you, I'd just carefully make the dropout a TINY bit wider with a file. I have a friend who's front dropouts wouldn't fit on the fork mounts I have for carrying three bikes in the back of my Suburban. Every other bike I've ever tried fit fine, about 1/2 dozen other bikes/forks. It was just one side of his fork, only one of the dropouts. We just tweeked it a tiny bit with the file and it was fine.
Based on what you've written above, my guess is that a few on-off cycles will do the same for that fork as a little filing would.
