Brakes for an old Trek

Having difficulty finding a straddle cable for Weinmann 610 centerpulls...might need to purchase some new sidepulls...any suggestions what will fit ( don't want to drill frame or spend big bucks )

Need a whole lot more info to offer any suggestions.
Brand / model of bike, wheel size, tire size, etc.

Surf ebay, craigslist, LBS for old bike parts. You might get lucky on a straddle cable.

edit; I guess you did say Trek in the title, but could use a little more than that to go on as there were a whole lot of different Treks made.

Try this, and check out the site if this type won't fit:

Since you can't find a straddle cable, look into replacing the cantilever brakes. New models use threaded brake pads and are much easier to set up a la direct-pull (V) brakes.

Ahem! I listed a link (above) for straddle-cables for these type of center-pull brakes.
