Check my rear rack install please.
It is level, but something doesn't seem right? I went on the outside of the dropout eyelets and also the outside of the rack braze-ons on the seat stay. Is this correct? Thanks. I have more pics if needed.

so long as it's not flapping in the breeze ... :-)
But seriously level doesn't matter so much as the screws staying tight. Did you use lock washers or those nuts with silicone inside them? |
There is really no 'one way' to mount racks as long as it's secure. Same goes for fenders.
One thing I would do is to mount it slightly lower to lower the center of gravity if it makes any difference. I see your rack has several mounting holes at the bottom. |

Thanks for all the comments so far.
I lowered it a little and now it slopes just a bit down towards the back. So that's not a problem? Also, rumrunn, I used the nuts with silicone. |
