Nitto Dynamic Stem Measurements

Hi all,

I'm researching stem options for a new frame I'm having built. Trying to decide quill or threadless, some geometry issues, etc.

Anyway, that's not the point. I've been looking at the Nitto Dynamic stem. The descriptions all (just) say "A=45mm, B=78mm" now I know this has to due with height and insertion and at one point I actually knew what A and B were but now I can't get my head around it. Can someone refresh my memory about what the A and B measurements represent?

Thanks,

Chris

I don't know those dimensions but I do know nitto gives the virtual stem length (90 degrees to the quill insertion angle) as the size, so a size 10cm nitto stem actually measures more like 11 cm along the clamp arm. I just bought a 9cm nitto pearl, labled "pearl9", it's length measures 10cm.

Thanks. When the A and B are listed, they are listed separately from the length.
