Shimano Sora STI shifter/brake upgrade ideas
Hi
Down-shifter on on my left-hand-side brake/shifter has snapped off. Bugger.
Any ideas for an upgrade that would match the capabilities of a Trek Pilot 1.0? Default will be to source a replacement but that's £80 quid (~$120).
Thanks

Leave the lever on and run a downtube shifter for the front. Works even better if you're not shifting that much. Cheap. If you don't like it, then go buy the STI replacement, and get tiagra or above and you won't be snapping anything off unless you crash it.
