Cantilever Brake Cable Hanger - How to?
I had my old cable hanger mounted on my fork (fork had threads for it) but now I have upgraded to an easton EC90 which does not have this. I have the avid short 8's, where can I find something like this:

Where the hanger goes around the steer tube? I also need some cheap (or preferably cheap CF) pieces for my steer tube as my new one is a bit longer than the old (and I want handlebars higher).
Finally, is getting one of these:

Worth it over what I have now? (round type with permanently attached cable)

Here is a good choice for a cable hanger:

You can adjust the mechanical advantage of your brakes with more precision by using the straddle cable carrier. You don't probably need it as the Avid brakes usually come with two different length straddle wires that are enough to match your brakes with the brake levers.

Nice, I think ill pick up t he adjustable one. I need a new straddle cable thing too, as I only have one length cable for my brakes (no idea where the other length is) and its way too short on one side
edit: Picked up the tektro long reach one from jensonusa with barrel adjuster, along with some carbon spacers and a new straddle cable.
