Worn Limit Screw Head
Help! Very badly worn screw head! Tried using an extractor bit but the screw just seems to be too fragile.
Any ideas?

If you can remove the screw with an extractor without damaging the threads it is screwing IN to it is easy to find another screw to replace it. Is this a derailuer limit screw or a brake screw?

It's a derailleur limit screw. The problem is getting it out. I'll be trying again a bit later but it just seems to be too fragile.

Cut a slot across the top of the head with either a dremel or fine toothed hack saw and then just use a flathead screwdriver.
