help with Upgrading Bottom Bracket
Hi
I want to upgrade my bottom bracket, and triple on my Giant boulder mtb. I have a SR Suntour XCC T-208, 28/38/48T crankset, and semi cartridge bottom bracket. I would like to replace my triple for a Sugino XD600. But, I don't know what to replace my bottom bracket with. Can I replace with a Shimano Square Taper BB?

Maybe I should just ask this; is there a better quality bottom bracket that would work in place of this Semi-Cartridge?

There's no such thing as semi cartridge, it either is cartridge or it isn't. The xd300 works perfectly fine with the correct length shimano cart bb. LX/105 quality square taper shimano will last you quite a long while, and it's cheap too $20-$25 retail.
