Is my hub flip flop

So I just bought a rear wheel off of craigslist, it's a Shimano WH-R500 and I realized that it is a single speed and not a fixed gear and I was wondering if my hub was a flip flop.
Here's the pics

Thanks in advance

I don't see any way to attache a gear to the other side, so.... no.

I was afraid of that. So would recommend me to change the hub myself or take it to a shop. I am pretty mechanically inclined, but generally new to bicycles.

Get a new wheel that has a fixed/free hub if that is what you want. Otherwise... see picture...

It will require you to build a new wheel. If you're comfortable doing that, go ahead. You'll need a hub, new spokes, new nipples, and a new rim strip. As for tools, you'll need a spoke wrench. Having a truing stand will make life less miserable, as well as having a dishing tool.

that's not even a proper single speed hub, but a cassette hub with spacers. a real single speed hub will be stronger as the wheel will not be dished (dishing a wheel to cope for unequal axle lengths gives you unequal tension and length of spokes on drive vs. non-drive side).

sell the wheel on again and buy another one, this time specifying a flip flop hub.
