Hydraulic brakes are stuck

I was changing the tires of my bicycle when I pressed the front brake with no wheel on.(hydraulic disk brakes)
I heard a small klikk noise, and when i look closer i see that the two "breakers" have moved closer, so the disk won't fit, and there is no way in pushing them back on place. Any ideas how to fix this, or is it straight to the workshop with my new bike?

I have a Scott Aspect 45 - 08 model

Brake Levers
Shimano BL-M485

Brakes
Shimano BR-M485
Hydr. Disc

Any help at all would be great!

The method that I have heard of most is using a flat blade screw driver or similar tool to wedge in between the pads and then twist the driver blade to spread the pads apart. There are plastic "pads" available to insert between the pads when the wheel is off to prevent this from happening. See your LBS.

Your method isn't working. The pads ain't moving, and the only thing that happened is that i managed to rip of small parts of the pads.

What you need is a hydraulic brake caliper wedge, the LBS should have tons of them sitting around(they come with new brakesets). Simply tap the plastic wedge between the pads with a mallet, and voila! Works much better than a screwdriver.

Thanks for the help guys, I worked it out, had to put the wedge between the circle and the pad, not between the two pads.
