weird drivetrain problem, schwinn peloton

I have a 99 schwinn peloton with 9 speed ultegra set, DA rear derailleur. Mostly in the 2 smallest cogs (I think its doing it in all gears, but I can feel it more with more resistance), when pedaling there is this weird clicking feeling. It seems like theres a click for every chain link, which leads me to believe it's a worn chain. worn cassette maybe? (it looks ok to me though).

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance

Check drivetrain alignment using methods on parktool.com.

Realign using info from same site.

If everything is fine, then drivetrain is worn and needs replacement.

Remember the general rule of thumb is chain and cassette are swapped together.

Good luck.
