Bontrager Race Lite Wheels and Ultegra 12-25 10 speed cassette

Do I need to put the small metal spacer behind the cassette when using this combination?

Bikes: 2006 Windsor Dover w/105, 2007 GT Avalanche w/XT, 1995 Trek 820 setup for touring, 201? Yeah single-speed folder, 199? Huffy tandem.

Yes. The spacer is to account for the fact that a 10-speed cassette is slightly narrower than 8- and 9-speed. There are very few 10-speed only hubs that would not require the spacer.

Hmmm, I seem to be missing that piece then. Any idea where I could turn one up?

It should have come with the cassette. It's very thin.

Look behind the largest cog of your cassette. The spacer is there when the cassette is packaged and it's easy to miss. It is both very thin and has a small OD.

Thanks. I looked, but no luck. Thankfully the mechanic at my LBS is a cool guy and said he would give me a spare. I appreciate the help.
