Noisy Mavic Rim
Kyrsilum Elite rear rim. There is something loose inside the double wall flange.
The rattle noise is at the first spoke next to the valve hole.
Located the sound in the bare rim on my stand at low rotation.
Wonder if I can get a century in tomorrow before I bring it
to the lbs? Thanks for your help.
P.S. the rattle is in the same spot when I shake the rim in my hands.

I know with the Mavic Open Pro, there is some plastic piece that they use to hold the rim seam together before it is welded. This can sometimes come loose and rattle. Maybe the Kyrsilum is the same? The only thing I've heard that you can do is drip glue in there and hope it catches and holds. But I'm no expert here.

Call me The Breeze
I'm having the same problem with an XC717. Sounds like there is a spoke nipple rattling around in there. (there isnt) I figure I'll probably just leave it as it only makes the noise when walking the bike.
