Nexus 7 internals from LBS?

I broke the 33Z 1100 Feed Cam in my wife's SG-7R41 Nexus 7 w/ Roller Brake on a Raleight SC-200 bike. I was really cranking in order to get some speed & test Sheldon Brown's claim that the roller brakes are torque-limited.

Anyone ever ordered internals? Is the only option to get another used hub, hoping that it didn't fail for the same reason, and steal its cam?

I think you can order small parts directly from Shimano and have them delivered to your local bike shop. I've never done this, though.

From hubstripping I found a place in the UK (I'm in California, USA), that sells an "internal assembly" for an SG-7R42 that is likely to fit for about $150 and a "driver & axle subassembly" that's a smaller subset of a complete hub for an SG-7R40 that's only $60 that might fit.

I'll see if my LBS can get these & if they have the "Shimano Spare Parts Manual and Catalogue" to figure out if the R40 internals are compatible with the R41, but I think I'm going to give up & buy a used 26" single-speed wheel from a local shop that trades in used & junk parts.

Right- but it appears that only the whole internal assembly is available for the 42-- $150.

If the R40 is compatible, I can buy only the driver & axle assembly for $60.
