someone made fun of my hobby

A local asked if anyone has done an unusual DIY project. If you have, I suppose you could contact her.

Take a look of the picture claimed to be my house. It isn't.

hey i think its cool to have a few bikes to work on

cant see much in the picture thats worth working on

also it may attract attention from the local kids and the authorities. They'll want to remove the bikes. Against the owners wishes

I've seen that picture before and have always wondered where that was. Now I know. Thanks!
PS: Is the inside of your home full of bikes, too?

We currently have about 16 bikes in the basement. Wait, no. We have 13 in the basement, one on the porch, one in the garage, and one in my office at my workplace.

Four are mine.
One is Daughter 1.0's.
Four are Daughter 2.0's.
One is My Lovely Wife's.
The rest are project bikes I will eventually give away.

I've got 5 bikes in my garage and one in my family room dedicated to the trainer and I thought that was a lot. At least my wife certainly does.

I think I have 17 bikes. Well, something like that. It's hard to keep track, especially since they keep coming and going. I'm more active in this hobby than ever before, and as a result, I'm having more fun than ever before. I'm about to finish refurbishing another bike and giving it away.

My basement is pretty roomy, and my wife supports my hobby. Her birthday gift to me was to clear out a large space so I could have a bike repair shop.
