Replacing Exage Brake Hoods

So I have an older road bike with Shimano Exage aero levers, and one of my hoods is starting to tear. I haven't been able to find any NOS hoods to replace them with. Does anyone know of any other hoods that will fit well with this lever?

I actually had this problem yesterday when a hood finally tore. I just put the hood back on and wraped it up with an old tube. After that, I scuffed up the tube because it was a bit slick. The end result looks ugly and is a bit thicker, but it still fits my hand. If you really want to hack it. Try this.

Cane Creek make some cheap ones you could try. Hoods can be more expensive than the levers, especially if they're only Exage... no offence.

Yeah, I think your solution is going to be new levers. Tekro R200's are solid for around $20, although I think the bodies are a little wide for my taste.

I put a set of Nashbar hoods( the ones that come extra with thier cheapest aero leavers) on a set Exage 500's. They fit but did not come all the way down to the grey spacer in the front. I would say it looks good, but not great.
