Help

Could someone tell me how to get into this? I've taking bikes apart before but never this far into it. I'm trying to build an xtracycle and this is the only thing holding me up.

Looks like a one piece crank and american style bottom bracket. The piece you see there with the two slots is the adjustable bearing race. The threads are reversed so "tighten" the race to loosen it. Once you have the race out you can then remove the bearings and slide the crank out, if thats what you're trying to do.

Thank you, I tried turning that bearing but not knowing turning the wrong way.
