Got Hit, Need Crank / Advice

long story short, my bike went under the back wheel of a van on my way to work today. Frame is intact, but I needed a new wheel and crankshaft. Got the wheel, but I had a problem with my crank, because my LBS did not have the part. I have a pista, and the stock crank set (truvativ I believe), which apparently has an irregular fitting. My question is if there are other crank sets that I can find that will fit, or do I have to search the land for this particular crank. BTW, It is only the right crank that is bent, so if I can just get that piece that would be great.

I could use some advice, because despite the fact that I ride all day every day, I am pretty juvenile when it comes to this kind of thing. Thanks ...

Tried calling the company? Most companies have support for pretty old bikes and then new ones are obviously covered.

If it's an ISIS bottom bracket/crank interface, then there are other cranksets available; for instance, Nashbar lists a couple of ISIS house-brand cranksets. Is the Truvativ crank a splined interface with internal bearings? That would be ISIS. Finding just a right crank arm could be hard and possibly not cost-effective.

I haven't tried calling the company, but my LBS guy told me that the Bianchi frame is guaranteed for life....however, I am pretty sure their policy for the frame and components changes if it gets run over by a van....it won't be covered

assuming you are not a troll...

1- wrong forum, try ssfg
2- any track/ss (or convert a road double) crank/BB will do. only thing to be aware is sometimes you need the correct BB spindle length.
