How to remove 7 speed DA cassette

I have a wheel with a 7 speed dura ace cassette/freewheel. Where you would normally enter a cassette tool is a plastic cap with 2 holes for turning with a spanner wrench. It has an arrow pointing counterclockwise to open. This cap spins and spins forever with no effect.

How would this be removed? Is it possibly a uniglide (?) that you unscrew the small cog with 2 chain whips?

Thanks in advance

Yes, and DO NOT lose that top cog. DA is different than the other UGs

Sounds like a FREEHUB with Cassette. The holes you see are lube ports. The 7 speed requires 2 whips to unscrew the small cog.

I should of clarified, the holes arent all the way through they are just indents. I'll try to find a second chain whip and give that a try.

like this?

pop it in a frame, use the crank as the 2nd chain whip.

Yes, the small cog unscrews.

When you remove the cogs, you will find that each cog is separate. This was good because you could buy separate cogs and build it with the gears you wanted.

You can likely find the separate cogs on EBay.

Yep, thats it. I'm guessing this would be fairly rare these days? It'll probably go on ebay.

It looks like these hubs could not be used with standard cassettes. Is that true?

No, you can use standard cassettes. You just need to keep that 1st top cog that spins on to lock the rest of the cassette in place. You can fit modern Hyperglide cogs by grinding down and widening one of the grooves on the cassette body:

https://www.sheldonbrown.com/k7.html

However, you'll only be able to use 7-spd clusters. Replacing the freehub-body with an 8-spd DuraAce one is possible, but that's it for upgrades. The 9-spd & later DuraAce hubs use a different attachment method and you can't fit those freehub-bodies onto the older h ubs.

.
When rotated correctly the outer will line up with an under piece and a hole will go all the way through. Trust me I used to inject grease into mine all the time.
