Cannondale R400 - cable guide on toptube?
I'm doing a basic tune-up on a friend's Cannondale r400 road bike. Not sure what model year it is, but the cable housing for the rear brake runs along the top of the top tube. It is secured to the top tube by three plastic brackets, and the middle one had popped loose. Appears to be held on by some sort of adhesive. I thought while I was tweaking things I would put it back. Any idea what type of adhesive to use on something like that?

Use a good quality 2 part epoxy. let it set up for about an hour, or better yet 24 hours, before you put any stree on the clip.

Okay, and I'm guessing the original intent was that these brackets would never come off, so this is more of a permanent type solution, correct?
