Opinions on the PCS-12 and PRS-7 stands
I am considering buying a bench mounted repair stand for a bench project I am going to work on this summer, and am curious about opinions on the Park Tools stands. In particular I'm looking at the consumer PCS-12 and the professional PRS-7 and PRS-4, although I've more or less effectively ruled out the PRS-4 based on price. If the PRS-4 has a killer feature that would make it a good buy over the other two, let me know - I didn't see much that would merit the extra money.
So basically I'm looking at the PCS-12 (80-90 dollars online) and the PRS-7(about 130 online). Does the PRS-7 have a rotating clamp? Both the PCS-12 and PRS-4 explicitly state that they do, but the PRS-7 looks like it does as well. If not, then this seems to be a no-brainer - PCS-12 seems like a good buy. The PRS-4/7 looks to have a much nicer clamping mechanism, and probably more robust, but I suspect the PCS-12 would do just fine as well.
Anyway, has anybody used these stands and how do they compare?

I have a Park PCS-10 that works well for me. Never tried a Park bench-mounted model. But their stands are generally considered from good to great. Get one and then write a review. You can always sell it used if you hate it.

I have a PRS 5, which uses the same clamp as the 4 and 7. Very well built, sturdy, should last a lifetime. I bought mine used off craigslist, they don't appear that often and don't last very long before they're gone.
The difference between the 4 and the 7 appears to be new versus old. The 7 looks like the older model clamp, which is used on my PRS 5. The 4 appears to be the newest model with a quick release to rotate the clamp versus the turning ratchet of the older model.

go for the prs 7. Easier to use that the prs 12. the prs 4 is more of a shop quality stand. For more versility why not go with a folding stand that uses the prs 7 head?
