how much cable to leave before the end cap?

Hi,

Basically I just added some crosstop levers to my bike and now there is hardly any cable left after screwing it into the brake caliper. There is literally just enough room for an end cap - the end cap is right up against the screw bit!

Is this ok? I screwed the cable in tightly so it shouldn't come out. Is leaving cable before the end cap just for ease of cable pulling?

Thanks

Daven

Doesn't really matter. You could have shortened the housing an inch during the installation to give you more slack (assuming that wouldn't make for tight bends).
