Shimano bar-end shifter: what size allen key?
I'm trying to remove a bar-end shifter as part of the process of replacing the bars - so I want to take the shifter off the old bars (intact) and then re-install it on the new. [yes there is only one shifter, it is controlling a drum brake].
Anyhow I can't make out the size of the hex-head into which to insert a hex key and turn (clockwise). I've tried a few but none has locked in, and since it's so dark in there, I don't know with which size to persist.
Anyone know the size?
Only markings I can find on the outside are "Shimano Light Action".

All of mine accept 6mm hex (aka Allen) keys.

Thanks. It's off now. So much easier to see what you're doing once you have it off...
